The state-of-the-art circuit, Sepang International Circuit was officially opened on March 9, 1999 by former Prime Minister Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad. Sepang International Circuit is the first track in the region to be certified by FIA(The Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile) and held Formula 1 races for over 2 decades.
Fire Fighter Industry is the official fire safety partner for the track since 2019 and have since equipped the track with their fire extinguishers, making sure motorsports is fire-safe in case of accidents related to fire.
